Materials Buyer

Materials Buyer - Super Prime Main Contractor - Central London

A leading main contractor in the luxury/ high end sector are currently seeking a Materials Buyer to join their team. Working alongside the Senior Buyer, the Materials Buyer will be working on super prime residential and commercial projects up to £25m in Londons most affluent areas.

Duties:

  • Negotiating rates, sales and tender enquiries
  • Ordering materials and raise purchase order for sites on daily basis
  • Procure materials packages such as appliances, sanitary ware, internal finishes, ironmongery and all other fixtures required
  • Check and authorise supplier’s invoices as well as raise query to any discrepancies or unsuccessful delivery, etc
  • Record all site plants/equipment hired and manage on weekly basis
  • Liaise with site Teams and suppliers,
  • Issuing spending reports for the Director Board meetings.
